Under admin/backup transfer if you want to take a backup of a user it should be under a reseller account. To do this first you will need to upgrade user to reseller. All you need is to run the following command:
/usr/local/directadmin/scripts/user_to_reseller.sh user
Obvisously you will need to replace user with the actual username.
